THE MOST HAPPY FELLA
Frank Loesser's MusicalAbbondanza! From the composer of Guys and Dolls comes a vibrant musical that blossoms in the vineyards of Napa Valley. Your heart will be warmed by this May-December romance when a city bride is wooed by an aging Italian grape farmer who nearly botches everything until his true goodness shines through. With a gorgeous score and spirited dancing, it’s a simple and touching love story that makes for an extraordinary night of theatre. Favorite songs include "Standing on the Corner" and "Somebody, Somewhere." Don’t miss it!

A beautiful production, worthy of Goodspeed's best. You're passed from one gorgeous melody to the next. The cast--particularly a (by-turns) tough and radiant Mamie Parris as Rosabella--is superb. Rob Ruggiero's direction is lovingly detailed. A wonderful night at the theater--I'd urge anyone to see this production.

We have been going to theater now for 50 years--in NY,Boston, Hartford, Springfield,Providence and Williamstown--many plays and musicals over the years--Most Happy Fella was the best musical I have ever seen in those 50 years--Goodspeed does an outstanding production each and every show--thank you from an ardent supporter.Thank you.

I happened to stop at a rest stop where we found your flyer for "Happy Fella". I thought you might like to know that my father - John Henson - was in the original cast having 2 roles (Jake - "Standing On The Corner" quartet; and Ciccio in the "Abbondanza" trio). I happened to be listening to the cast album on CD at the time we found your flyer. Just HAD to drop you a line to say Thanks!! Was an exciting time of my life and knowing the musical is still being performed gives me a "warm fuzzy"!! Peace, and BREAK A LEG, "YOUSE GUYS"!!

We've been waiting to see this show live again since 1992. Blown away! Absolutely beautiful...the voices, acting, dancing, staging, direction...all perfection. I cried from the moment Tony got the postcard. We're going to try and come back and see it again before it closes! Thank you for a memorable evening. Please tell the cast and crew!
